What is Kairos Coach?
Kairos Coach is an AI-powered mobile app that helps runners and hikers optimize their outdoor activities by analyzing real-time weather, location data, and environmental conditions to recommend the perfect moment for your activities.
Which platforms are supported?
Kairos Coach is available for iOS and Android devices.
Why does the app need my location?
Your location is essential for providing accurate weather forecasts and personalized recommendations based on your local conditions and terrain. We store location data locally on your device for up to 1 hour and do not share it with third parties.
Is my data private?
Yes! We use open-source AI models that run on our own infrastructure - your data is never sent to external AI providers like OpenAI. Location data is stored locally on your device and automatically deleted after 1 hour. Read our

How do I enable location services?
iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Kairos Coach → Select "While Using the App"
Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Kairos Coach → Permissions → Location → Select "Allow only while using the app"
The app isn't giving me recommendations. What should I do?
- Make sure location services are enabled in your device settings
- Check that you have an active internet connection for weather data
- Try closing and reopening the app
- If the problem persists, contact us at web@ddq.nl
How do I delete my data?
Your location data is automatically deleted after 1 hour. To remove all app data immediately, you can:
- Uninstall the app, or
- Clear app data in your device settings
Does the app work offline?
An internet connection is required to fetch real-time weather data and generate AI recommendations. Basic app functionality may work offline with cached data.
Technical Issues
If you're experiencing technical problems with Kairos Coach:
- App crashes: Try restarting your device and updating to the latest version of the app
- Location not working: Verify location permissions are enabled in your device settings
- Weather data not loading: Check your internet connection
- Other issues: Contact us at web@ddq.nl with details about your device model, OS version, and the issue you're experiencing
